Entrance: At “Zanddijk” near bungalow park “De Zandloper” and “Residence Juliana”
Beach “Zandloper” is the most northern beach of Julianadorp aan Zee. The beach was formerly also known as “Ship on the Beach”, named after the former pavilion. The pavilion has now been replaced and modernized, and is now called “Zee van Tijd”. Unfortunately it burned to the ground in 2016 and has been updated to a high standard. It will remain on the beach yearlong and welcomes you for a pleasant stay.

A beach wheelchair is available as is a beach shower.
This beach is awarded with a Blue Flag.
Flower Picking Gardens
From early spring to late May you will find many bulb flowers in bloom.

Ooghduyne Golf Course
At “Foreestweg” in Landal greenpark “Ooghduyne” there is an 18 hole golf course. There is also a 9 hole family course for beginners or those who want to get acquainted with golf. There are restaurants nearby (at “Zanddijk”), or a little further into the village of Julianadorp aan Zee. Choices vary from a simple snack or sandwich to pizza, Asian food, tapas or a specific child-friendly restaurant.
At the corner of Zanddijk and Noorder Sandt is a large parking lot where you can park for free. From the car park it is a 5 minute walk to the beach. In the summer season the Kustbus bus service (851) runs from Den Helder railway station to Julianadorp aan Zee.

The entrance to the beach is fully paved. Beach pavilion “Zee van Tijd” has a special beach wheelchair. This can be reserved by calling 0223-641474
